'Tis the Season...To Be the Hostess With the Mostest
What's better than gathering with friends and family, sharing good food and even better conversation?
There's just something about fall that brings people together - perhaps its the feeling of cozying up next to the fire, or eating bountiful meals followed with pie... Whatever your fall tradition is, it all comes together with great food and even better company.
When it comes to feeding that great food to that even better company though, it can be tricky to come up with unique ideas for what to serve this season. Here's a fool- proof Honey Appetizer that will please a crowd.
The Appetizer - Walnuts & Honey Charcuterie Board
Keep your appetizer low-key and classy with this easy recipe.
Ingredients: Manchego Cheese, Fresh Burrata, Brie, Sliced Prosciutto, Sliced Salami, Sliced Coppola, Crisp Pears & Apples, Walnut Infused Wildflower Honey.
Directions: Wash & cut your fruit into thin slices. Once you've cut your pears and apples, arrange them in opposite diagonal sides of the serving board. Add your sliced meats, arranging them in a balanced fashion across the board. Add the cheeses in between the meats, precutting a few chunks of cheese and leaving the rest in a block. You can now use your Walnut Infused Wildflower Honey to pour over 1 or 2 of the cheeses, or leave in the jar on the side of the board with a serving spoon.
Either way encourage guests to mix and match cheese, honey, and meat to enjoy a variety of flavors and unique combinations!
Easy to eat, delicious to enjoy!
